Prelaunch

I’ve been writing a lot, I have nearly 30,000 words so far for book three.

I have the title and cover art nailed already, as I am closer to finishing I will reveal both!

It‘s been a strange twelve months, highs and lows. The high was publishing my first novel last year and my second earlier this year. 

I cannot thank everyone enough for their support and amazing feedback.

I’ll be adding a few more items to my Jemi shop soon. Including some exclusive prints of my latest art work.

Update:

For me it’s autism awareness every single day. My daughter is high functioning autistic (we don’t use the term Asperger’s in the uk anymore) she is #dyspraxic and has #sensoryprocessing both on the first centile. Not to mention other umbrella conditions including hyper mobility, hypo mobility and low muscle tone. She didn’t walk until she was five after starting horse riding lessons; which built up her core stability somewhat. But my goodness could she talk! I could have a full conversation with her before she was even a year old. 

Now; Amira didn’t like all the labels; so she made her own. She is the Neurodivergent Supergirl 

I took her out of school when she was 11 because she was bullied to the point she would rather die than go to school. I wasn’t about to let her become another statistic of a young life lost because of of bullying. Plus at that time “girls don’t get autism” was all we were ever told. That was only seven years ago; shocking isn’t it! 

She flourished once we started her Home Education journey. 

Five years ago we got Eragon; Amira’s autism service dog that boy has given her a new lease on life. She even got to go to LFCC in 2019; she she met someone who she has idolised since she was 11 years old. Lana Parrilla (who was amazing with my girl! It’s something Amira will never forget! So thank you Lana; from the bottom of my heart).

Amira is now 18 and I could not be prouder.
